For entry, please make sure to update your phone to the latest version of the PHAROS app. Your app must contain a ticket matching your photo ID. This is required.

After parking, before entering the venue, everyone will go through our security lines and all bags and camping gear are subject to search.
PHAROS is an all ages event, but anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Camping is restricted to 18+. No exceptions.
Please bring your phone chargers and extra batteries. There will be charging stations available onsite and your phone is essential.
Car pooling is encouraged. This will help our parking team accommodate everyone and make for smoother entry and exit. It is also is better for the environment.
If planning to use a car service such as Uber or Lyft, please instruct your driver to drop you off at the main entrance.
Sorry, no pets allowed. Only service animals. If you are bringing a service animal, proper paperwork and certification is required.
Please dress in your frequency color. It isn't a requirement.
What is PHAROS?
PHAROS is a series of live shows, one each night, in New Zealand this November 23, 24, and 25. Each full-length, live Childish Gambino show will feature new music. Doors open at 6pm with all programming occurring in the evening and onwards.
Where is PHAROS happening?
PHAROS will be happening in New Zealand at Tapapakanga Regional Park. The address is Deerys Rd, Orere, Auckland 2585, New Zealand. The nearest major airport is AKL. The park is about one hour from both the airport and the city of Auckland. The entrance is off Orere-Matingarahi Road (NOT Deerys Road).
Is there an age limit on the event?
The shows are all ages and anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Attendees wishing to stay overnight on the campgrounds MUST BE 18+. This will be strictly enforced.
Do I need to be 18 to camp?
Yes. Camping areas are restricted to ticket-holders age 18+. You do not have to stay the night. Camping areas will be cleared by 10am the following morning.
What does a ticket include?
Every ticket grants access to the show on the night you select. Attendees age 18+ will also have access to the campgrounds for that night.
When are tickets available?
Tickets are available today. Each attendee is limited to a single show.
How much does a ticket cost?
Tickets cost $149 USD including all taxes and fees. Please note that some banks may charge foreign transaction fees.
Can I refund my ticket?
Yes, tickets can be refunded within the first 48 hours after purchase in the app.
Can I change the name on my ticket or transfer my ticket to someone else?
Unfortunately we cannot allow any ticket name changes or transfers. This policy is strictly enforced to prevent scalping and to ensure that all attendees get to pay the same price for their tickets.
Can I change the date on my ticket?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate date changes.
What is required to attend the event?
Every attendee must have a compatible mobile phone with their ticket inside the app as well as a valid photo ID. Drivers license, passport, and school IDs are acceptable. To prove you are of age to consume alcohol you must present a valid drivers license or passport.
Are there VIP tickets?
All tickets are equivalent. Everyone at PHAROS is equal.
Can I bring guests to camp if I am 18+ and they are underage?
Unfortunately, every person in the camping area must be age 18+. This is a strict regulation dictated by our site and local authorities.
Is there any programming during the day?
All activities will occur after the door time of 6pm and will go into the night.
Are there accessibility & disability accommodations? Who can I contact about that?
We offer both accessible camping and restroom facilities. Please email us at accessible@pharos.earth for any accessibility or disability accommodation requests in advance of your arrival.
Can I park at the event?
Parking is available at the event for $40 NZD per vehicle. If you have 3 or more people in your vehicle you will receive a $10 NZD discount for carpooling. Parking payments are cash only.
When is the parking lot open?
The parking lot opens at 4pm and closes at 1am. All non-camping attendees must leave before 1am. The lot will re-open from 7am to 10am for campers to exit. Once you leave the event site to the parking lot you will not be able to re-enter.
Are children allowed on site?
Yes, but minors under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All guests must be wearing a valid event wristband.
Are there shuttles available?
Shuttles will be available from Auckland and Auckland Airport. Shuttles will cost $32 USD round trip and are available in the Merch section of the app. One shuttle ticket per person.
Auckland
Pick-up location is Quay St outside Spark Arena at 2pm or 6pm. Return shuttles at midnight or 9am the following morning from Tapapakanga Park to Quay St. Parking is available at Arena Car Park.
Auckland Airport
Pick-up location is International Terminal Bus Parking at 5pm. Return shuttles at 9am the following morning from Tapapakanga Park to the airport.
Is merch available?
Merch is now available for pre-order. You will be able to pay in the app and have your merch ready for pick-up when you arrive. New merch items may be added to the Merch section of the app as the event approaches.
When can I get my merch?
You will be able to get your merch any time between 4pm and midnight on the night of your ticket. Merch that is not claimed will not be shipped.
Can I rent camping equipment?
We have partnered with The North Face to design an official PHAROS tent. The limited edition tent fits up to 4-5 people and is available to rent in the Merch section of the app. Additionally, a limited edition PHAROS backpack is available for purchase.
What do I get with a tent rental?
The tent will be set up already when you arrive. The tent will not come with any sleeping gear so you will need to bring your own blankets, sleeping bags, etc.
The camp space is free with your ticket.
Please present your ticket on your PHAROS app at check in.
Camping spaces are assigned on arrival.
Each space accommodates one tent.
Camping check-in starts at 4pm the night of the performance and guests MUST clear out of their campsite by 10am the following day. This is strictly enforced. Cars not off site at 10am will be towed at owners expense and tents removed.
We offer basic overnight facilities including water stations and restrooms. You will be able to purchase food and drinks. There is no internet on site.
Cars will be parked at the nearby lot and so you may have to walk to the camping areas. Due to the nature of the site some walking will be required.

Medical and guest services will be available 24 hours.
We do not advise bringing valuables and accept no responsibility for any items lost, damaged or stolen whilst on site.

What if I am traveling and my bag is larger than 30cm x 30cm x 40cm (12"x12"x16")?
We will offer free bag check for oversize luggage while you are onsite with us.
Can I sleep in my car?
No, you cannot sleep in a vehicle either in camp or in parking lots. Overnight camping in tents only.
Can I bring my motorcycle?
Yes, you can park you motorcycle and park in the parking lot, but you cannot take your bike into the camp grounds.
Can I bring chairs?
Yes. You can bring chairs as long as they fit within your camp spot and you are able to carry them to the camp site. You cannot take them to the event, but they are allowed in the camp area.
Are there showers? How much do they cost?
No, we offer restrooms and hand wash stations for overnight camp guests.
Can I drive on and off site? Are there shuttles to leave site? What if I need to buy something?
You cannot move your vehicle once it is parked. Please see the designated access times. If you need to leave site in an emergency please see a security officer who will escort you off site. You will not be readmitted. We do not offer shuttles, but we have a small general store which will sell a selection of emergency items. Please be sure to bring any personal provisions.
Is there food and drink available in camp?
Yes. We will offer dinner, beverages, and late night snacks for purchase.
Is there water?
Yes. We have free water refill stations on site. Please bring your own water bottles for refilling. The event will be selling water bottles, but there is a limited amount.
Do you have ATMs?
There are no ATMs on site. All concessions and merchandise will be payable by card only. With exception of parking, PHAROS is a cashless event.
Are there electrical outlets?
No. There will be limited charging stations for small devices located at the camp hub. Large batteries, compressors, etc. are not to be plugged into anyone site power supply. If found they will be confiscated.
Can I bring a generator?
No.
Can I bring an RV, small trailer, or camper van?
No. The event offers tent camping only.
Can I bring a bike into camping?
No. The site is walkable with easy access to the event grounds.
Can I bring a BBQ grill or camp stove? Can I have a campfire?
You cannot bring a BBQ grill or camp fire. Open flames are not permitted on site. No wood burning grills or charcoal grills.
Can I bring my speaker?
Yes, small bluetooth speakers are allowed. Amplified music is not allowed within camp quiet hours.
How close is the camp to the main event site?
The camp is up to a half mile walk (about .8km) depending on where your camp is located.
How large is each camping space?
The camping spaces are each 10ft x 10ft or 3m x 3m.
All guests must have a valid event ticket / wristband.
Show is all ages, but the camping is restricted to 18+.
Camping spots and wristbands are non-transferrable.
No in and outs: once you leave the site you will not be allowed to re-renter. Please bring the provisions you need.
No food or alcohol is to be brought onto site. We will offer concessions selling food, beverages, beer, and wine.
No glass bottles or containers.
Please dispose of your trash in the cans provided and be sure to take ALL belongings with you on exit.
All campers to behave in a manner that is courteous and respectful to other campers.
No animals allowed in camp ground.
Quiet hours are 2am to 7am.
